This is a 28 cms stand alone boxcar and is developed around the idea of the chemistry of molecular clouds in Space.

Each wagon has the chemical name for one of the complex molecules that can be found in interstellar Space. The graphic background to the text is redolent of the flow of gasses and particles within these phenomena. There are many complex chemicals to be found in interstellar molecular clouds including the precursors of life such as amino acids.

This series of artworks function as a commentary on the methodology of contemporary scientific model-making. In that instance we have seen the inadequacies of the process multiplied by the use of supercomputers. In these works, that potential for error is overcome by the use of the phenomenology of the model railway environment and associated mechanics.
